This is the easiest recipe ever! I use Julia Child’s basic baked custard recipe but do it with a twist to make a fantastic bread pudding we experienced at the Four Seasons in San Francisco years ago.

When we were newlyweds, we had a seasonal smoothie at Jamba Juice called the Pumpkin Smash (which they have since discontinued). My wife was smitten and I had to figure out a copy cat version fast so that we wouldn't go broke! This recipe fits the bill.
